To help us manage demand and ensure patients who need care most urgently are prioritised, if you feel you need to be seen on the day, please complete an eConsult request as early in the day as possible, ideally between 8 am and 10 am. This enables our clinical team to review and triage requests promptly and to offer same-day advice or appointments where this is clinically appropriate. Requests submitted later in the day will still be reviewed, but due to limited same-day capacity may be scheduled may be booked into our next available appointment or, where appropriate, signposted to the Urgent Treatment Centre. This approach helps us use our resources safely and effectively and ensures fair access for all patients.
